Eamons portable tire racks are the perfect solution for limited warehouse space and temporary stock storage. You may wonder why this rack is portable. It consists of one base and four poles. Simply insert the poles into the four sockets for use. When not in service, remove the poles and stack the bases together. Poles and bases can be stored separately to free up valuable floor space, making these portable tire racks a great choice for a more flexible warehouse layout. Fixed floor-mounted racks do not have this advantage.
Regarding PCR1828, designed exclusively for passenger car tires, the mesh deck on the base is a key component. It prevents tires from slipping through the frame grid and creates a secure standing platform for workers during tire stacking, fully protecting on-site personnel.
These stackable racks are engineered to hold tires horizontally. Take 750-16 for examples, these tires have a standard diameter of 816 mm. Each portable tire rack base can accommodate four tires of this particular size/diameter. With an overall rack height of 1828 mm, you can stack up to 7 layers, for a total capacity of 28 tires per rack. When stacked 4 levels high, the total height hits 7 meters. We suggest maintaining a 30 to 50cm clearance between the top of the racks and the warehouse ceiling, to ensure safe and easy loading and unloading with forklifts.
As for 205/55R16 tires (630 mm in diameter), 9 tires fit on to one base. Supported by the clear height (usable height), you can load eight layers of tires, bringing the total capacity to 72 tires per rack. This also explains why this rack is also known as the 7272 rack.
Many customers worry about stability when stacking above 7 meters - a common concern for stackable and portable tire racks. Our stability relies on well-built poles and base legs. We use custom steel tubes with carefully selected sizes and wall thicknesses. The design is well-balanced: robust enough to ensure full safety, without unnecessary material costs. We also keep the gaps between poles and base legs within precise limits. Gaps that are too wide will lead to excessive sway, while overly narrow gaps will impede nesting.
